Somebody searched your name this week.
Google had to decide who you were.
Sometimes it decides confidently, and a panel appears on the right of the page with your photo in it. Sometimes it decides you are one of four people with your name and shows none of you. That decision is made from public evidence, it is repeatable, and it can be worked on.
Free, no email, runs against Google’s own API.

Ninety seconds on what this actually is
Start with the verdict, not the theory
Paste a name below. This reads Google’s Knowledge Graph live and tells you which of three routes you are on, because the answer to “how do I get a panel” depends entirely on whether you already half have one.
Match strength is Google’s resultScore. It is how well a record matched this query, not a trust rating and not a Google-published threshold. We label it that way because a lot of people selling this do not.
The record
Eight names. Every screenshot below was captured from a live Google result on 31 August 2026, and every row carries the search that produced it so you can run it yourself in one click.

Because they are. A knowledge panel arrives in two moves, and almost nobody selling this admits to the first one. Four of the eight have a record Google will show when you ask for the entity, and will not yet show when you type only their name. That is real progress and it is not a finished panel. A page that only showed the four finished ones would be a brochure.
The two stages, side by side
Switch between them. Both are real screenshots of real clients taken the same afternoon.
Typed his bare name. Panel, photo strip, birth date, LinkedIn card. Google is not hedging.
Google has issued your name an internal identifier and holds a small file against it. Ask for the entity directly and it will show you something. Type the bare name and you may get nothing, because certainty is not high enough yet to beat everyone else with that name.
Almost every client stuck between the two stages has the structure right and the witnesses missing. Schema is done, profiles match, the site is clean, and nobody independent has said their name in public recently. That is the gap, and it is filled by other people, not by publishing more of your own pages.
Photo, descriptor, profile links, and the three dots that let you claim it. This is the thing people mean when they say knowledge panel, and it is the only version worth paying for.
What the empty space costs
Move the two sliders. Nothing is submitted anywhere and no figure here is ours — both numbers are yours.
This is arithmetic on your own two figures, not a claim that a panel recovers all of it. A panel changes what a buyer finds. What they do next is still up to your actual work.
Eight questions, answered properly
Written for somebody who has never heard the phrase “knowledge panel” and is only here because they want to be taken seriously when their name gets typed.
What is a Google Knowledge Panel?
The box on the right of the search page, what it is made of, and the four things people confuse it with.
Read it → Question twoWhat is it actually worth to me?
The honest version. What changes the day it appears, what does not, and who should not bother.
Read it → Question threeHow does Google decide who gets one?
Entity home, corroboration, the two stages, and why publishing more of your own pages does not move it.
Read it → Question fourHow do I claim it and keep it?
The exact claim flow, the field that gets people rejected, and what to do when the panel goes wrong.
Read it →Will this work for me specifically?
Eligibility, weighted and honest, with a gate that can tell you no.
Read it on the sister site →Question sixWhy do ChatGPT and Gemini not mention me?
The same evidence problem showing up in a second place, and the nine prompts that measure it.
Read it on the sister site →Question sevenWhat do you need from me?
The intake, the brand brain, and the five hours a month it costs you.
Read it on the sister site →Question eightWhat happens month by month?
The twelve-month arc, what moves first, and what will not move for a while.
Read it on the sister site →How ready are you, honestly
Twelve questions, weighted, answered by you. It will tell you to wait if you should wait. About a third of the people who run it get told to wait.
The awkward questions
Can you guarantee I will get a knowledge panel?
No, and anybody who does is either qualifying you very hard first or lying to you. Google does not take applications, does not publish a threshold, and does not offer a service level. What we do guarantee is the refund: if nothing is live at twelve months you get the full fee back. That is the only promise in this business that can actually be kept.
Can I just pay Google for one?
There is no product to buy. No ad spend, no Workspace plan and no partner relationship puts a panel on your name. If someone offers you a paid placement in the knowledge graph, they are describing something that does not exist.
How long does it take?
Six to twelve months on a person who already has real public evidence. Longer if your name is contested. If someone quotes you fifteen days on a common name, ask them to name three people it worked for and then search those three names yourself.
Do I have to be famous?
No. You have to be legible. Four of the eight people on this page are not famous in any general sense. What they have in common is that a stranger reading the public web would come away with the same short answer about who they are.
What is the match strength number on your tool?
It is resultScore from Google’s Knowledge Graph Search API, which measures how well a record matched the query you just typed. It is query-relative. It is not a confidence rating, not a trust score, and not something Google publishes a threshold for. Treat it as a direction, not a grade.
Will you handle my identity verification?
No, and you should refuse anyone who offers to. Claiming a panel requires a selfie video or a government document going to Google from the person it belongs to. We prepare everything up to that screen and then you submit it yourself, from your own account.
What if I already have a panel and it is wrong?
Different job, shorter job. Correcting a live panel means claiming it, feeding the correct evidence into the sources Google is actually reading, and using the suggest-an-edit route properly. Say so when you apply, because it changes the price and the timeline.
Why should I trust a page that shows a client who has not got there yet?
That is the reason to. Ramesh Pattni’s record is live and his panel does not fire on his bare name, and we put him on the same table as the four that do. A page that only shows wins is telling you about its marketing, not its work.
Own the answer to your own name.
$3,000 flat. Half at intake, half when there is an entity ID or a live card to show you. Full refund if nothing is live at twelve months. Four builds run at a time.
